Our ABA Program
Our ABA therapy programs are designed to support children with autism spectrum disorder through the use of evidence-based practices. We focus on helping children develop meaningful communication, social, and behavioral skills that promote success across all areas of life. Please note that at this time our ABA program is accepting children ages 2-8
Our services extend beyond the clinical setting. ABA strategies are implemented collaboratively with teachers, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists to create a holistic, integrated treatment approach. This collaboration ensures consistency across environments and allows skills to generalize naturally into the classroom, home, and community settings.
In educational settings, we provide individualized classroom support, including the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans that are carefully tailored to each learner’s unique needs. At the same time, we prioritize nurturing independence by teaching self-advocacy skills. Learners are supported in recognizing and expressing their social, emotional, and sensory needs effectively, empowering them to communicate their needs and participate confidently in their learning environment.
Our goal is to create a supportive, inclusive framework in which each child can learn naturally, build independence, and thrive alongside their peers.
What Is Applied Behavior Analysis
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a practice based on the science that studies behavior. It consists of individualized behavior intervention plans used to teach and increase socially significant behaviors, and to decrease the ones that are detrimental to the individual’s life or impede learning.
Who provides ABA
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is a graduate- or doctoral-level professional certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). BCBAs conduct initial and ongoing assessments, design and analyze individualized treatment goals, and provide ongoing training and guidance to staff and families. They are also responsible for supervising treatment implementation and ensuring services follow best clinical and ethical practices.
A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a BACB-certified professional who works under the close supervision of a BCBA, BCBA-D, or BCaBA. RBTs provide direct, one-to-one services by implementing behavior intervention programs developed by the supervising behavior analyst.
Ethical Standards
All behavior analysts and technicians are required to follow the BACB Code of Ethics. Additional information is available on the BACB website at www.bacb.com.
